About Me

Hi, I’m Supriya Crocker, a Certified Music Therapist (MTA) with over 10 years of experience supporting children, youth, and adults through music and the creative arts. My work blends creativity, compassion, and evidence-based practice to help people heal, grow, and express themselves.

Alongside my private practice, I have worked in community organizations, schools, and healthcare settings. My studio is located in Victoria, B.C., and I also offer online sessions.

My Approach

I believe that at its core, music therapy is about meaningful change. The relationship I build with each client forms the foundation for growth. Within this supportive space, I draw on evidence-based music therapy methods—such as songwriting, improvisation, and creative play and exploration.

This process is highly attuned to each person’s goals. I work with children, teens, and adults. I partner with parents, schools, and healthcare teams to ensure that therapy is coordinated, personalized, and supportive. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based, ensuring that music and verbal therapies are used safely, ethically, and purposefully to foster growth, resilience, and well-being.

In addition, my training in counselling allows me to integrate verbal approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), creating a flexible, combined process that enhances insight, coping, and emotional processing.
